Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the EtranPay platform, operated by EtranPay SAS, a company incorporated under the laws of Niger, currently in beta. By using our services, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Definitions
- Platform: all EtranPay services (manager, API, payment links)
- Merchant: any individual or entity registered on the Platform to collect payments
- Customer: any person making a payment via the Platform
- Transaction: any payment initiated via the Platform
- Provider: third-party payment provider (Nita, and soon Airtel Money, Amana, bank card)
2. Registration and Eligibility
To use EtranPay as a merchant, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a legal business activity in Niger
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Complete the identity verification procedure (KYC)
EtranPay reserves the right to refuse or suspend any account that does not meet these criteria.
3. Services Offered
EtranPay provides merchants with the following services:
- Collection: acceptance of payments via Nita, and soon Mobile Money (Airtel, Amana) and bank card
- Payment links: creation of shareable links to collect payments
- QR Code: generation of payment QR codes
- REST API: programmatic integration for websites and applications
- Dashboard: transaction tracking, analytics and account management
- Webhooks: real-time notifications of payment events
4. Fees and Commissions
EtranPay charges a commission on each successful transaction. Current rates are available in your Manager dashboard. We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' notice by email.
Settlements are made according to the schedule defined in your merchant agreement.
5. Merchant Obligations
As a merchant, you agree to:
- Comply with Nigerien law and BCEAO regulations
- Keep your KYC information up to date
- Not use the Platform for illegal activities
- Ensure your products and services comply with the law
- Handle customer complaints in good faith
- Retain transaction records for the legally required period
6. Liability and Limitations
EtranPay strives to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Our liability is limited to the amount of commissions collected over the past 12 months.
EtranPay is not liable for:
- Service interruptions from third-party payment providers
- Errors in information provided by the merchant
- Commercial disputes between the merchant and their customers
- Force majeure events
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from the Manager. EtranPay may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms, with prior notice except in urgent cases.
Upon termination, pending transactions will be processed and funds settled according to the usual schedule.
8. Intellectual Property
The EtranPay brand, logo and all Platform elements are the property of EtranPay SAS. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Niger. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Niamey, Niger, after an attempt at amicable resolution.
