EtranPay SAS ("EtranPay", "we") operates a payment aggregation platform for merchants in Niger. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

1. Data Collected

1.1 Identity Data

When you register, we collect: name, email address, phone number, business name, RCCM and NIF numbers where applicable.

1.2 Transaction Data

For each processed payment, we record: amount, currency, payment method, transaction ID, date and time, status.

1.3 Technical Data

IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, access timestamps.

2. Use of Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve our payment services
  • Process transactions and settlements
  • Verify your identity (KYC) and prevent fraud
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
  • Send you transaction-related notifications
  • Produce aggregated and anonymized analytics

3. Sharing with Third Parties

Your data may be shared with:

  • Payment providers: Nita (interbank network), and soon Airtel Money, Amana and bank card, for transaction processing
  • Regulatory authorities: when required by law, including BCEAO and ARCEP Niger
  • Technical service providers: cloud hosting and analytics tools, under confidentiality agreements

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • TLS encryption for all communications
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Strict role-based access control
  • Access monitoring and logging

5. Your Rights

Under applicable regulations, you have the following rights:

  • Access: obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations
  • Objection: object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
